Stargate SG-1 is a spinoff to the movie Stargate. It stars Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O'neill), Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter), Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), and Christopher Judge (Teal'c). In this show they continue their battle with the Goa'uld and battle a new powerful enemy known as the Ori. Along the way they meet powerful allies such as the Asgard and the Tok'ra. Later in the series, Corin Nemec (Jonas Quinn), Ben Browder (Cameron Mitchell), and Claudia Black (Vala Mal Doran) join the SG-1 cast. Stargate SG-1 is the longest running Sci-Fi show on TV. The show lasted for 10 seasons. After season 10, they were planning an 11th but didn't go through with it do to budget cuts. Instead of an 11th season they made 2 movie Stargate The Ark Of Truth and Stargate Continuum. It is an exiting adventure for Sci-Fi fans everywhere.
